What a beautiful Day, the kind of day to do a DIY project. So here goes, the first half: thanks to my friend Marie of Woodland Tiles I have some materials to work with. My ugly metal table will be an art piece by tomorrow.. (I hope)
1. step one, a thin coat of tile cement on the surface.
2. step two a thicker layer applied with a toothed tile trowel
3. place the tiles down before the cement sets, you have about 45 minutes.
4. apply tile cement to the edge of the table.
5. add the finish edge trim
Tomorrow we grout!
