Milwaukee Wedding Photographers | Holly & Kris

Once again we got to make some pictures of an awesome couple who really know how to light up the dance floor. These kids were so much fun to work with, and very easy to photograph... hard to go wrong with material like this. Many thanks to Foz's for opening early and putting out a wonderful spread of snacks to help soak up all those great martinis!!

You can see a slide show of the days events here.

Erin

Hard to believe that this senior girl doesn't like to have pictures taken. My view, "flaunt it while you can, there'll be a day when you wish you had more pictures that looked like this!"

Katie

On a hot and humid day dipping your toes in the water can be refreshing. More refreshing was this smiley senior.

GIRL SCOUTS

These are not the little "Brownies" I remember...pretty sweet "scout" cookies.

staying on track

This is the beauty we photographed yesterday. I always have fun taking these pictures and I think Emily did too. Great subject! A little drizzle never hurt anyone!

Memorial...

This blog has usually covered the photobiz, but on a more personal note, my mother recently passed. I got a call from my oldest brother, just as we were heading out the door for our last wedding, telling me that the time was near. I made the decision to go to the wedding, because I thought what could I do, I would be helpless to do anything to change the situation.

The next days were spent clearing out her room in the nursing home, going through numerous boxes and albums of old pictures, preparing memory boards for display at the wake, and crying with my wife. It was that moment I realized how important our work is, when all I came home with were memories and a handful of photographs...

There's only so much time we're given on this planet, so find your passion, and make sure you live life to the fullest.

My son Carl best summed it up with his blog entry seen here.

Almost forgot the star of our video clip

Good natured, fun loving, photogenic, Maria!

All in the FAMILY

you can see their closeness... :)

hearts be still...

Couldn't resist this look.......STELLA!.....that's for the older generation who remember Marlin Brando in his youth wearing this same style shirt, in "On a Hot Tin Roof" or James Dean in "Rebel Without a Cause".

Becca

It always amazes me when a new model makes a setting look completely different! Becca has an engaging smile and eyes that see right through you. Oh to be young and beautiful!

This family can get a little crazy!

Fitz family at their peak, or the top of their wave...

catch up time

since last blog, I have heard from my son in Uganda, gone to the Sieber's homestead for a rest, and had Canadians here for ten days-bid them farewell. Now it's time to catch up!

Emma Baker

What can I say? she's Cute, she's smart, she's delightful, she's EMMA.

An eye for composition, Emma knew what she wanted her pictures to look like, she even had a small diagram for the one on the left. LOVE it!

Ryne Stickney

Ryne, not only plays football, he is a snow boarder, and Willie Nelson fan. we had a good time taking these pictures, even though the mosquitoes were trying to drive us from the park.

This fun loving couple will be a joy to work with on their wedding day. Getting smiles when they are together is not a problem. Erin, thanks for waiting for this post..our Canadian company forced us to play by the pool today!

Natalie Brown

Germantown class of 2008, Natalie has a great smile, she was lots of fun to work with!

Josh Bintz

Obviously football is Josh's game of choice. I would guess his food of choice to be pizza...since he brought a pizza costume from work with him to do humorous shots. Made me laugh at loud!

Kelsey Strelow

She can life guard at our pool any time!

It was hard not to take a good picture of this student.

Abbey Stroik

Abbey knew exactly what she had in mind for her senior portraits. It was great fun working with her on these images, she ended up with a great variety. Make sure you check the event portion of our web site to see her whole portfolio.

Melissa Konrath

Even though we didn't choose to show the soccer image of Melissa, let it be known that she is invested in the sport! Slinger is lucky to have this young lady on their team.
