Cassidy is a golfer, so there was no better place than a golf course for taking his pictures. No worries with the weather those big fat October clouds make the whole world lit by a soft box!

Joe

Due to a football injury, Joe's focus has changed to concentrating on basketball. No matter which sport he chooses, he's probably a fine athlete, and was awesome to photograph!

There was a great background to work with-the rolling Kettle Moraine of Erin, doesn't get much better than that in October.

Jennifer

After being cooped up yesterday in front of the computer.. I was shocked to find gale force winds and rain interfering with this senior shoot. Luckily Jennifer was very interested in studio work that reflected her passion at this time in her life...DANCE

Madison was teaming with activity yesterday, the Badgers, the Market, and so many weddings that every portico of the Capital was clogged with wedding parties.

WOW! I know I often say that at weddings but in this case I really mean WOW!!!!!
A long time coming, but there could be no other for either of these two. We first met Tina & Scott at our first destination wedding a couple of years ago, and have been hoping that they might someday call upon our services... and they did.

We were honored to be in such fine company with all the friends and family who came from many distant locations to support the happy couple. We wish these two all the best, and feel endeared to have been part of the celebration.

It was a fabulous location with the ceremony at Villa Terrace, and reception at Pier Wisconsin made for some of our best images yet (in our humble opinion).

Sometimes you just have to shoot for FUN

If it's your passion, it is necessary to save some time for yourself to shoot what interests you.

The North Woods have a magical childhood calling for myself and Charlie, we both had close relatives who ran resorts in the Vilas County region.

I made the mistake of going back up north earlier in August, and now I am hooked again. It is so quiet, and beautiful and the smells and sounds are different, everything is bursting with color.

Here's just a few images that we took.

Manitowish waters

Lucky enough to have the greatest weather, we made our business stops, and then have had some time to ourselves. There's something to be said for disconnecting. NO TV, means no bad news, no phone, and really this is the first time on the computer, so no work. We have taken some photographs, but that's not the WORK part of work. That's the fun part!

We are on the flowage between Rest Lake and Stone Lake and in Manitowish Waters WI, at the Hillcrest Resort, a stone's throw to little Bohemia where Johnny Depp filmed Public Enemy. We discovered Little Star Lake has a great beach, a fabulous place to take a dip and watch the sun go down.

Just a hair too early to see the cranberries harvested, mid to late September is the time to view those red berries being floated to market. A great time to be here though the air is warm, and the water is holding onto the summer's heat up, and there are virtually just a few people populating the area at this time.

We met on Friday for this engagement shoot, it was the beginning of a holiday weekend for us. Erin and Ryan were so much fun to photograph it was a great way to start off a mini vacation. Thanks for taking us to such a great location!

Holidays are really family days...

This family knows how to celebrate, Penny and Bob are responsible for the creation of this large family Unit! But The kids are responsible for putting together a day spent having fun and recording memories for a life time.

I have not seen Anna since her freshman year, it was a complete pleasure to be able to take her senior portraits today. She's a reader, and an artists, and a friend of the sciences. Best wishes to you Anna in the completion of your high school career!
