08/08/08 It was meant to be...
All we can say is BEAUTIFUL, TOUCHING, tears of JOY, were the response to the wedding of this couple. The ceremony was one of the most meaningful ever witnessed. It was our pleasure to be the photographers for two wonderful people in love.

Jenny as mommy

Our wonderful book designer, Jennifer, is going to have a baby in October, and she has the tummy to prove it!

I don't have a lot of time today-thus only one image- but I guarantee the pictures will not only surprise Kevin, but also delight him.

A sweet couple getting ready to tie the knot in May of '09. The warm up shots for the wedding were lots of fun, I think it surprised Brad, just how painless photography could be! Both kids are very photogenic, so the wedding will be great fun, we can count it a success even before the event. :)

owner operator gets assistance

Being a sole proprietor, often times means you are on your own when it comes to shooting all week long. That is unless you hire someone to assist, or are lucky enough to have a great step son like Connor. This morning I dragged him out of bed to be reflector guy..he did a great job, and doubled as the client to get the settings right before shooting. My retirement job is sometimes more challenging than teaching, but with a great family like mine, there is always help close by.

Pike lake shoot

Geoffry, an outdoors kind of guy, and soccer player selected Pike Lake for his session. Emily assisted as wardrobe director, and Geoff became the GQ model he didn't know he was.. thanks to all, it was great fun.

One blog behind..

Yesterday I had the pleasure to work with drummer, and Eagle Scout Dan. Since I was a bit short handed, his mom graciously assited by helping with the reflector..Thanks Karen!

Anna, meet Izzie! We are so lucky to have our couples patronize us after we have photographed their weddings. Here's another beautiful baby a product of a wonderful couple . Kate brought grandma Janet along to create a generational picture, great idea, wonderful heirloom for Izzie when she grows up!

Well it got late, and I got lazy.. but up bright and early this morning to post the cutest little girl, who is already 6 month old. A dangerous time, I warned the parents, because she is so cute and so well behaved that they will be tempted to have another ASAP....But watch out! 2 under 2 can age you fast.. :)

It is great to see our former wedding couples in their new roles as parents, homeowners, or just plain pet owners...it is always fun to see where they are in their lives.

A long time coming.... Melanie has been a friend & colleague of Carol's for many years at Hartford Union High School, and we were honored in that she made sure Carol was available for photographing her wedding before she set the date... We had always wanted her to meet the man of her dreams as we thought she was so deserving, and quite the catch.

Jedd has proven to be everything on her wish list and more... Sensitive, intelligent, handsome, fun, and he scuba dives! Best wishes to you both and safe travels on your way to the big island.

It's a GIRL!

If you follow this blog you know we did maternity pix for Dawn and Roy. What a great couple to work with. When I got the call that baby Erin had arrived, it was hard to stay away! congratulations to Dawn and Roy and of course big sister Samantha!

We let him cool off a bit in the pool.. it was a big hit.

Summyr

When two people are brought together their bond transcends the universe. Summyr and Mike have strengthened in their bond, through adversity, their battle against the forces of nature have fused them as one.

The images I took for Summyr are a testament to the fact that hair is not our crowning glory, a smile is. Summyr as you might have noticed is sporting a new Sinad O'Connor hair style, not by choice. What you can't miss is the fact that even hairless this young lady is outstandingly beautiful.
