What we did over the weekend..

In January we had the opportunity to travel to Mexico to photograph Holly and Kyle, but this last weekend the Kreuser family greeted the couple with their wedding wishes.

He's da man!

Actually there were many extremely talented kids from all over the state at yesterdays 1st Annual Tommy Awards, which took place at the Overture Center in Madison. It's always a challenge between documenting the performance, and enjoying the show without feeling like we're watching it through the camera... either way, we very much enjoyed watching Connor receive the accolades he deserved (best lead) working so hard in the high school musical "All Shook Up".

Kudos to all the folks who received awards for all their hard work in their respective productions. It's ironic that these programs which have such great impact on young lives are the first to get their budgets cut at the first sign of economic duress. I am one parent that believes these programs are just as important to the development of today's youth as any sports activity.

Way to go Connor, you are a leader of tomorrow!

You just know when personalities click, AND that's what we felt with Rodney and Sara. Sara is another beautiful woman whom we have the opportunity to photograph, and Rodney is not just handsome-- he is a barrel of fun. We know this wedding will be a blast. October cannot come soon enough.

Late....meet NATE

It's been a while since we were introduced to a new family member. NATE ... I didn't get this chance to blog about him until now. It might have been psychological, since I am now a GREAT aunt. Doesn't seem possible, just yesterday I held his dad in my arms.

He shared the spotlight last Saturday with his beautiful bride Nicole. They had an outdoor wedding, on a beautiful early summer day. The bride sparkled like the gems around her neck.

Krull family

What cute kids, new to the family is Benny, and Kimmy Jo is his big sister. The Krull family is happy to welcome their new little boy, and look forward to a full happy life together.

Love..... is not just horsin' around

Lisa and Jason will be taking the reigns on a life together in August. Their busy schedules kept us from doing the engagement shoot in a timely manner. The wedding date is August 8th, can't wait to photograph this cute couple!

Lake Geneva Wedding Photographers | Erin & Paul

WOW...What a wedding! We had so much fun with this unconventional couple. Erin and Paul designed a wedding that never ceased to amaze us throughout the day. The ceremony that united the bride and groom was symbolized with earth being added to a small fir tree and Erin and Paul watered it to show their unity from that point forward. Just like that small tree, their love will continue to grow.

The location for the reception was beautiful, the Grand Geneva Hotel and Spa, what a place. We enjoyed being with their friends and photographing around the grounds of the Hotel.

Paul revealed a few of his musical talents later in the evening, thrilling his guests with song and music directed to his new bride. The Deuces Wild Dueling Pianos could not have been better. What a treat to have entertainment in the form of comedy, audience interaction, and rocking music. Everyone was on the dance floor bustin' a move, and literally rolling on the floor.

We cannot thank Erin, Paul, and their families enough for letting us be a part of their wedding celebration, it was one for the record books and will not be forgotten, ever! Our only regret is that we don't live closer so we could continue to offer our services when this couple starts a family... BTW, we do travel you two... :-)

This happy couple thought they would get out of taking the engagement photos.. but we twisted their arms. They have busy lives, with school, marathons, plans, and work! Whew when do they get time to play?

Baby Mozart!

Reyce is one year old, and she is not your usual piano pounder.. she actually touches the keys as though playing in concert. You know some day this pianist in the "nude " will appear at a wedding or special function. She is the cutest, most even tempered baby, and is pretty just like her mommy. With mommy's good looks and daddy's talent, Reyce will dazzle the world.

Missing for Mother's Day

Some of you may have noticed that I have been missing in action, well that is because I took my 89 year old mother on a cruise! Accompanied by my own daughter and my niece. It was a celebration of Mother's Day and birthday among the ladies. We all had a great time, especially grandma!

These two genuine, beautiful, people are supported by wonderful families, and friends, as evidenced yesterday when they became husband and wife. The wedding will be long remembered as a great event in the Green Bay area. Erin and Ryan met at university, only to find that their lives had been so close as they became who they are. Both of them grew up in small towns near Green Bay. They were both affiliated with St. James church, where they were wed. Their backgrounds added to the strength of their relationship.

We felt very honored to be a part of their wedding day. Erin and Ryan are more than clients to us, they're more like family. Our love and thanks goes out to you both.

To say that yesterday was blustery would be an understatement... No matter, as the love between these two gave shelter from the wind. We loved working with Val & Johnny. They've been one of the most mellow, and sweetest couples we've had the pleasure to photograph. We love you guys, and have fun in the sun of Jamaica mon!
