Seven,Seven,Seven....seven OH seven...is it just luck? Or years of planning? Cosmic planning brought this couple together seven years ago, and yesterday they joined as one, on the seventh day of the seventh month, of the 2007th year. Check those lottery tickets!

Wedding season is in full swing.. we are getting ready to depart for Europe..Fourth of July.. summerfest... these are all my excuses for not tending the blog!

So between weddings-there was Sam's big 60th birthday! Happy B-day big guy!

Alice P0llocks adorable grandkids came to swim, but not everyone was into getting their picture taken :)


Baby Christian introduced himself to me...both dad and baby so beautiful in pictures, made us all tear up!


and finally, Cara and Mike go through the formality of having engagement photos shot..in Mexico after a few umbrella drinks.. Mike won't even know we are around.

WHEW, it's been a wild week or two...I had pictures of some striated red, white, and blue martinis from the fourth..but today's haste made waste and they were reformatted. :(

SWEET!!! is the only way to describe this couple, and it doesn't hurt to have a father who's a master baker either... check out the custom kringles that went home with everyone last night, not to mention the wedding cake shaped cookies as party favors, and the THREE spectacular wedding cakes! Milwaukee Wedding Photographers | the ring challenge

Here at Artist's Eyes, we have a friendly challenge as to who can shoot the most creative ring shot. I concede, this week in my opinion Carl has truly won. My two photos to his one, don't even compare. Can you tell which one is Carl's??? This of course is for the blog watching fans following our thread. :)

We've been waiting to make images of these two for some time. Erin has been one of our biggest advocates since the start up, recommending us to numerous brides. In fact it was a reunion of sorts yesterday, seeing two of our previous couples, with a future couple being part of the wedding party...

Release the hounds! This animal loving couple suprised by their canines at their nuptials, an extra touch added by mom, (Sally). As if that wasn't surprise enough, they departed in horse and carriage fit for a princess.

Busy Weekend!

This Quartet, are inspirational young women who hail from Hartford Union High School. They are a very talented string quartet, who preform for ceremonial occasions! We have worked with them, and they really know their stuff!

Ryan H. appears casual here, but before the prom, we had the opportunity to create images worthy of "Gentleman's Quarterly". So the many personalities of Ryan can be viewed at our website under your events.
All in all, it was a CRAZY weekend. I think this keeps us young.????

Post Party day must have left me in a fog, I scurried when this great couple arrived for their shoot. We took some time to go to a park and capture moments of laughter, eye contact, and some sweet whispers. The bride's busy life is being directed toward the most important day of their lives, she will handle it with ease, I am sure.

Anniversary Party a Big....

Our second annual Anniversary Party was a learning experience for us... Mothers Day weekend was not the best choice for people to be available.... However those in attendance did have fun as we had a harpist (Chloe, you are amazing!), guitarist and songwriter Ethan Keller, a rousing edition of the newly wed game, and Donna & Bryan Woods dance instruction gave us all a Salsa lesson...

Special thanks to Scenic View Country Club for hosting this wonderful event and supplying the beer and soda. Chicken Primavera provided by Catering by Bryon, cake samples by Sweet Creations Bakery, and floral center piece by Petals Flowers. Carol's son Jon DJ'd and we brought the pizza!

Well, it's been a couple of long days for us down at the Pictage Partner Conference in Chicago... rubbing elbows with some of the big names in the wedding and portrait industry. We hopefully picked up a few new tricks.

You'll see some improvements to our website in the next few weeks, and the look of our correspondence, and just look at our new header for the blog! oooooo it's cooool.

Katie and Tom are planning a June wedding in '08-thinking ahead they posed for great engagement shots. This bride and groom will be easy going, and lots of fun, that was obvious with the little time we spent together. They are coming to our big bash on Saturday May 12th, so we will get to know them even better.
